Biography
Emrul is a PhD in Finance Candidate (ABD) and a Lecturer of Finance and Economics at Simon Fraser University (SFU), BC. Before working in the education industry, I spent several years as Investment Analyst and Consultant at different investment banks, manufacturing firms, and think-tanks such as Fraser Institute and Asian Tiger Capital Partners Ltd. In these positions I worked on venture and private equity valuation, M&A, and writing sector and industry reports while providing sound advice on investment and portfolio management.
