Biography

Sasha Ramnarine is an entrepreneur, and Business Lawyer at Remedios and Company, specializing in assisting entrepreneurs and small businesses in establishing successful ventures in BC and Canada. With experience in Business Law, Real Estate Law, and Estate Planning, Sasha provides invaluable guidance to clients.

Sasha's professional journey reflects his strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. He gained early business experience by actively contributing to his family's Trinidadian restaurant in Kitsilano. Throughout his career, he has held over 20 diverse roles, gaining valuable experience across different industries.

In addition to his legal expertise, Sasha actively contributes to various organizations as an advocate for both the business and wider community. He currently serves as a Board Director for the Surrey Board of Trade, previously was a Board Member with the New Westminster Police Board, and a former Director with ISSofBC. He also chairs the Tourism, Arts, and Culture team within the Surrey Board of Trade.

Furthermore, Sasha's professional growth continues as he completed the Directors Education Program – an Indigenous Focus with the Institute of Corporate Directors. Sasha received the ICD.D Designation in September 2023, further enhancing his expertise in corporate governance. Sasha was awarded the Business in Vancouver (BIV) Forty under 40 in 2023.
