Madeline's drive allowed her to travel North America with the SFU women's varsity volleyball team while balancing her studies. Using this same determination, Madeline secured a prestigious graduate position at TELUS.

Alain left behind African concentration camps to pursue his education in Canada. His studies at SFU Beedie subsequently sparked a passion for community and change.
