We are two energetic and passionate fourth year students at the Beedie School of Business. As Beedie Ambassadors, Beedie co-op employees and highly involved students, we are proud to showcase what our faculty is all about.
Before Co-op
Since our first year, we have always been engaged, whether across the SFU campus as Orientation Leaders, or within our Beedie Community as club executives. You can pretty much call us SFU cheerleaders.
Throughout our university education, we have gained so much from our volunteer involvement, but we knew that the next step was to gain professional work experience. This is what brought us to the co-op program.
Life at Co-op
Being the true cheerleaders that we are, we both landed positions within the Beedie School of Business. Whether it is video making, organizing events and designing promotional material, we have been actively promoting the amazing programs that our faculty offers undergraduate students.
We have gained a better understanding of the BE More brand, and all the initiatives that fall within. The experience would not be the same without the wonderful staff that we get to work with every day. Everyone shares the same passion and drive to better support and develop Beedie students. It’s been a great fit for both of us!
We’re really glad that our first co-op work term was here at Beedie. Being behind the scenes has opened up our eyes to the amazing community that we have here, and has made us even more proud to be Beedie students.
This leaves us with just one thing to say: make the most of your time here, and experience Beedie for all its worth.
