MBA Graduate Shortlisted in Worldwide Competition

MBA Graduate, Wahiba Chair has been shortlisted for Stars of Science, an Arab worldwide science competition, sponsored by the Qatar foundation. The competition was launched to find and support the development and funding of creative Arab inventions or innovations. The selected ideas will have the unique opportunity of becoming actual inventions and widely distributed products.

Ms. Chair is amongst 100 shortlisted candidates who will be flown to Tunisia to pitch their original ideas in a 10-minute face-to-face interview with an international Jury Oct 26-28. From there, only 16 finalists are selected to participate in a 10-week intense program next year in Doha, Qatar to work on their projects in a specially designed workshop with state of the art tools and equipment. The winner will receive $200,000 in cash and project support.
