We are excited to announce that several SFU Beedie professors have been selected to receive prestigious research grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). Among the grants awarded, four professors have been awarded Insight Development grants, while another professor has received an Insight grant. SFU’s Beedie School of Business congratulates Assistant Professor Chaitanya “CK” Kaligotla on receiving the KD Tocher Medal from the Operational Research Society (ORS). The award recognizes Kaligotla’s paper Diffusion of Competing Rumours on Social Media as an outstanding contribution to the philosophy, theory or practice of simulation published in the Journal of Simulation.
