The new CMA Centre for Strategic Change and Performance Management hosted a one-day workshop on process-based management. Co-sponsored by CMA Canada, this inaugural event featured industry practitioners and researchers who shared their views on how to challenge the ‘business-as-usual’ mindset and discussed the benefits of process thinking. The panel of speakers included Professor Tom Lawrence, SFU Business’ Tom Lawrence, Weyerhaeuser Professor of Change Management and Director-designate, CMA Centre for Strategic Change and Performance Management; Dennis Daly, CMA and professor of accounting at Metropolitan State University in Minnesota; Pat Dowdle, president of Process Advantage Inc., Jerry Stevens, President of the Stevens Group Inc .
