An SFU Business undergraduate team is among 16 finalists in L’Oréal EStrat, the world’s biggest online business simulation competition. The three-member team is the only Canadian team to make the finals. Members Tim Coleman, Helen Lu and Jessica Wang have spent the past two months managing a virtual portfolio of beauty brands to compete for worldwide leadership against four virtual companies run automatically by the simulation. The team will now compete in Paris April 21-23 with seven other undergraduate teams from universities around the world. The finalist teams will present their business plan, defend their strategy and try to sell their virtual company to a jury. Two winning teams will win a trip, worth approximately $16,000, to the destination of their choice.
