SFU’s Beedie School of Business is pleased to announce the Ali Dastmalchian Memorial International Study Abroad Award, in memory of our late dean, Dr. Ali Dastmalchian. Ali was an avid supporter of students’ international experiences and a driving force behind SFU Beedie’s internationalization strategy.
To honour his leadership and to continue his vision to strengthen SFU Beedie’s global outlook, friends and colleagues donated generously to establish an endowed award in his name. This new award, valued at $1,500 per semester, will support SFU Beedie students participating in eligible international learning experiences. The first awards will be available in the 2022/23 academic year.
SFU Beedie is honoured to offer these awards, and to continue Ali’s legacy.
