SFU Beedie congratulates Aviva Philipp-Muller for being named SFU’s 2023 Emerging Thought Leader (ETL) Newsmaker of the Year for her timely media engagement since completing SFU’s media training program last year. SFU’s Beedie School of Business congratulates Assistant Professor Chaitanya “CK” Kaligotla on receiving the KD Tocher Medal from the Operational Research Society (ORS). The award recognizes Kaligotla’s paper Diffusion of Competing Rumours on Social Media as an outstanding contribution to the philosophy, theory or practice of simulation published in the Journal of Simulation.
