Beedie ranked as “Emerging Global” b-school by QS

The Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University has been ranked as one of QS’s “Emerging Global” business schools as part of a survey that is informed by over 3,000 global employers. The list, part of a larger ranking of the world’s top 200 business schools in the world, describes “Emerging Global” schools as those “that have an established reputation for excellence well beyond their region”. The newly-published 2012-13 QS Global Business Schools Report is based on a survey of more than 3,300 active MBA employers worldwide who were asked to identify the business schools from which they prefer to recruit. The top 200 schools have been split into four categories, based on employer recognition, including the Emerging Global category.

Beedie team nets silver at IIBD case competition

A team of Beedie School of Business students today captured silver in one of Asia’s most rigorous case competitions, the International Institute for Business Development (IIBD) Case Competition.
