Volunteer applications open for JDC West business competition 2019

During September and October 2018, applications will open for 300 student volunteer positions at JDC West, the biggest and most prestigious business competition in Western Canada. SFU will host the next competition in January 2019. JDC West is a major event, often referred to as the Olympic Games of the business school world, and will attract 1,300 attendees to SFU. Sam Thiara, Associate Director of Undergraduate Alumni Engagement at Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business, has been awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, a special commemorative medal honouring the significant contributions and achievements by Canadians. Two Beedie School of Business undergraduate students have been named amongst the province’s best and brightest in a new list by prominent Vancouver daily newspaper, 24 Hours.
