2017 Sustainability Challenge

The 2017 competition featured nine teams from eight universities (University of Victoria, Pinchot University, University of Alberta, University of British Columbia, Presidio Graduate School, Western University, University of Oregon, and Simon Fraser University), presenting on a live case provided by FortisBC.
The live case highlighted the issue to provide feasibility and pre-engagement advice to the FortisBC Vancouver Island –Sunshine Coast system (FEVI) Energy Solutions team with respect to the potential for natural gas conversions in First Nations communities in this region.
