Why did you decide to pursue an MBA and what drew you to the SFU Beedie School of Business?

I decided to pursue an MBA because I wanted to improve my leadership skills, and general business knowledge to keep growing and developing as a professional but also as a person. What first drew me to Beedie was the innovation and entrepreneurship experience. Then I realized that Beedie was a school where people really matter, that it was not just a business school but a place to learn how to be a better professional and a better person, and this caught me.

What has been your favourite moment or experience at Beedie so far? What are you looking forward to?

The courses I am taking are not only providing me with additional knowledge and enhancing my skills but also helping me redefine myself and my personal and professional goals for the short and long term. I am looking forward to learning and growing both professionally and personally.

How would you describe SFU Beedie’s culture?

Beedie’s culture is centered around providing a safe learning environment where everyone can express and share their experiences and knowledge. It is a culture based on respect, ethics, and the pursuit of social equality.
