The post-war world was characterized by unprecedented increases in flows of goods, capital and people. Moreover, these changes have resulted in an historical restructuring of the global economy, in particular with the rise of emerging markets. These changes require a global perspective, whether it be the decision to invest abroad, the awareness of potential competitors from unexpected places, and the multicultural nature of the domestic workforce.
