Why did you decide to pursue an MBA and what drew you to the SFU Beedie School of Business?

I chose to pursue an MBA at SFU Beedie School of Business to enhance my skills in Leadership and Entrepreneurship. I was attracted to the school's strong reputation for academic excellence and its comprehensive MBA program. The small cohort size of 50 students demonstrated the school's commitment to quality education. The program's focus on leadership, accounting, business analytics, and managing a global workforce aligns with my career goals. I appreciate the diverse and inclusive academic environment, which allows me to collaborate with students from different backgrounds. I believe that SFU Beedie will provide me with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience necessary for leadership roles in the business world.

What has been your favourite moment or experience at Beedie so far? What are you looking forward to?

The experience of working with a varied group of fellow students has been one of the most remarkable. Because of the school's dedication to creating an inclusive and global learning environment, I've been able to collaborate with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds who provide a rich tapestry of viewpoints to our conversations and projects. In addition to broadening my perspectives, this exposure to various points of view has reaffirmed the significance of cross-cultural cooperation in the corporate sector. I'm excited for my fascinating experience working on an Applied International Project in Portugal and for the chance to start or collaborate on a business using the SFU entrepreneurship platforms.

I look forward to an exciting Applied International Project experience in Portugal and an opportunity to launch or partner a business through the SFU entrepreneurship platforms.
