Co-Curricular Activities

Your education goes beyond the classroom. SFU Beedie has a well-earned reputation for supporting and encouraging students to explore co-curricular activities in a way few other institutions do. We see case competitions, conferences, student organizations and other events as a way to uncover different leadership opportunities, hone your business skills and tap into a vibrant network of industry leaders.

We encourage our graduate degree candidates to participate in the countless extracurricular activities offered at SFU Beedie. Make the most out of your SFU Beedie experience by choosing co-curricular opportunities that suit your goals. After all, what you learn in the classroom could change your thinking, but what you learn outside the classroom could change your life.

Case Competitions

Represent SFU Beedie’s Segal Graduate School on a local, national, or international stage. Apply what you’ve learned and test your analytical and presentation skills in front of business leaders against peers at other leading institutions.

Student Organizations

What better way to put your management and leadership skills to the test than rising to the challenge of leading a student organization? Join a club to develop leadership, team-building, event management, and networking skills. Your experience in a Student Organization is a valuable asset to your SFU Segal Graduate School journey.

Skills Development Opportunities

The SFU Beedie co-curricular activities and initiatives provide you with skills development opportunities to complement your academic curriculum. When you engage in co-curricular activities, you are maximizing your graduate studies experience and will be well-positioned to better leverage your experience through hands-on learning and relationship building through networking.

Conferences & Events

At the SFU Segal Graduate School, we value attending conferences as an opportunity to meet and connect with the business community while gaining exposure to new ideas and innovations.
