China’s Belt and Road Initiative

DEAN ALI DASTMALCHIAN OF SFU’S BEEDIE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS INVITES YOU TO ATTEND A PRESENTATION AND LUNCHEON ON:

China’s Belt and Road Initiative

Featuring a visiting delegation of 30 senior business executives representing China’s leading companies in construction and infrastructure development, engineering services, mining, energy, and communications.
Learn about opportunities for Canadian participation in the Chinese economy through joint venture, supply of goods and services, and investment in multiple projects.

The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is a one trillion dollar initiative aiming to link the greater Eurasian continent with a strategic network of overland railways, highways, pipelines, seaports, airports, and telecommunications infrastructure with a goal of boosting commerce and connectivity between China and 65 countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

The visiting delegation is comprised of senior representatives of China’s state-owned construction, engineering, mining and financial companies who will be connecting with Canadian businesses interested in learning more about the BRI.
