The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada hosts a public forum that will explore whether Asia can continue to be the engine of global economic growth. Panel speakers include several highly respected economics scholars from around the Asia Pacific region. Questions framing the discussion include: What will it take for China to move up the value chain? Can Indonesia escape the middle income trap? What is the future of India’s economic reform? What is the US’s motivation behind the TPP and the Asia 'Pivot'? And, To which specific countries or sub-regions should Canada pay especially close attention?
