Why did you decide to pursue an MBA and what drew you to the SFU Beedie School of Business?
I decided to pursue an MBA to immerse myself in global business strategies, enhance my managerial skills, and draw inspiration from the diverse perspectives of my peers. From the first encounter, I identified with SFU Beedie’s culture, and the team was very welcoming, guiding me through every step of the process.
What has been your favourite moment or experience at Beedie so far? What are you looking forward to?
My first semester in the MBA program has been incredibly enlightening. What I value the most is our multicultural cohort, which provides diverse perspectives and fosters engaging class discussions, broadening our understanding of global business dynamics. I look forward to continuing to learn from our courses and peers and applying this knowledge to further enrich my professional journey.
How would you describe SFU Beedie’s culture?
To me, SFU Beedie’s culture resembles a family. The entire team goes above and beyond to develop an exceptional student experience, demonstrating genuine care while navigating through this learning process. Their warm and welcoming approach helps every new student through the application process and makes their experience as best as possible.
