Why did you decide to pursue an MBA and what drew you to the SFU Beedie School of Business?

I decided to pursue an MBA to cultivate a comprehensive understanding of business for genuinely impactful change. Previous encounters with various challenges convinced me of the necessity to acquire knowledge in specific areas to navigate through them effectively.

What has been your favourite moment or experience at Beedie so far? What are you looking forward to?

My experience at Beedie has been wonderful. The classes, filled with engaging case discussions, leadership exercises, and mock demonstrations, have taught important concepts in a practical and interesting manner. I will always remember these classes and my time at Beedie. I am looking forward to the Leadership Retreat and the International Applied Project, anticipating the opportunity to build lasting relationships within the Beedie Community. I can't wait to venture into the world with the Beedie Community by my side.

How would you describe SFU Beedie’s culture?

I love the positive and passionate energy of both the faculty and the cohort and let me just say it is quite addictive.

Beedie’s community will always show up when it matters, and that is my key takeaway from the fundraising activities and networking activities we have organized. It’s not a rare occurrence to meet previous cohorts or have them contribute to your learning. Alumni regularly drop in to share their experiences and recommendations, keeping us connected to the job market and the community.
