Why did you decide to pursue a Master of Science in Finance and what drew you to the SFU Beedie School of Business?
The MSc Finance program at SFU Beedie is the most unique finance program in Canada, as it combines both the professional and research aspects of finance into a single program. The most significant part of the program is that it has both the coursework and research taught curricula that will equip anyone for any area of finance- professional, academic and research. After getting offers from various top-notch Finance programs in Canada, analyzing the course structure and curriculum, I found SFU Beedie to be the best suited program for me. Apart from that, the program has SIAS. Participating in SIAS will equip the students for the investment banking industry with hands-on practical skills in modern investment management strategies.
What has been your favourite moment or experience at Beedie so far? What are you looking forward to?

The program is very intense, and rigorous, expanding both my theoretical and quantitative research skills in the field of finance. Every day seems to be a new day to me. It also helped me in building strict time management skills. The faculty members in Beedie are extremely helpful, and they are amazing in all aspects. They motivate me every day to learn and to do better. Since I am a PhD aspirant, I am looking forward to equipping myself more with the robust research skills.
