“When I took some classes at SFU's Beedie School of Business, I realized how much I loved the business aspect of things”
From a young age, Ben had always wanted to be a doctor. That is, until he decided to take some undergraduate business classes at SFU's Beedie School of Business. From that moment on, his sights were firmly set on a career in business.
My experience at SFU Beedie
I have learned a lot from representing SFU Beedie at events and case competitions. It’s very humbling to look back over the last four years and see how much school has changed me. It’s exciting to think about what the future now holds.
My Journey
Once I figured out I wanted to study business, I got involved with a variety of extra-curricular activities at SFU Beedie. I took on the role of VP Corporate Relations for SFU's International Business Association before joining the Business Administration Student Society (BASS) as VP Internal Operations where I founded the SFU Beedie Protege program.
I also went on exchange to Paris and have competed in the International Business Case Competition in New Zealand.
Being an SFU Beedie Ambassador allowed me to reflect and communicate some of my extra-curricular activities as well as represent the school at a variety of networking events.
My BBA major comprised of:
