Annamina Rieder joined the faculty of Beedie School of Business in 2023 as an assistant professor of Management Information Systems. She teaches SFU Beedie students at the undergraduate level and in the Executive MBA program.

Rieder's research focuses on technology for humanity, with a particular emphasis on IT use and user behaviour within the areas of health, sustainability, and social media.
