The Jack Austin Centre for Asia Pacific Business Studies invites you to a research presentation by Professor Bo Chen, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Since June 2013, Dr. Chen has served as the executive director of the Research Centre on Free Trade Zone and participated in the consultation for the establishment of China (Shanghai) Free Trade Trial Zone. In 2015, he also became the senior consultant to Fujian and Guangdong FTZs. Dr. Chen remains as a senior consultant (to both central government and Shanghai Municipal government) on various undergoing macroeconomic reforms, especially on the policies on trade, investment, and SOEs. As a government consultant, Dr. Bo Chen will share his viewpoints and analyses on the background, logic, as well as challenges, of the SOE reform.

The role of the CIO is among the most dynamic in the enterprise, and you have decided to make it your challenge. You are focused on developing these skills, and are looking for a way to kick-start the learning. This program is designed to do just that by introducing you, the (future) CIO, to the key concepts and realities associated with CIO success.
