Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E) training develops renewable competencies such as creativity and adaptability, team work and collaboration skills, communication and implementation; which prepare students for an employment landscape that is rapidly changing. I&E skills have been found to lead to much greater ambition and productivity, and even if the students choose not to immediately become entrepreneurs, employers are increasingly looking for these skills in employees.
Because realistic, practical innovation and entrepreneurship require interdisciplinary teams and skills, the Beedie School of Business, in collaboration with the following Faculties: Applied Sciences; Communication, Art and Technology; Environment; Science; and Health Science, with the support of SFU’s Venture Connection Student Incubator, is proud to present the Certificate in Innovation & Entrepreneurship, supported by the Charles Chang Institute for Entrepreneurship for all undergraduate students across SFU.
This certificate is open to all SFU students and is a complementary credential to a student’s primary degree.
